I build software that works when it really counts.
I’ve spent + years building software where there’s no room for guesswork and “pretty close” is not good enough. I help teams turn complex, regulated requirements into secure, reliable products across embedded systems, mobile apps, and cloud platforms. My approach is simple: build trust, keep things practical, and ship work that holds up in the real world.
About
I grew up in Sitka, AK and now call San Diego, CA home, where I’m building both
my career and family life. I’m married to my wife, Emily, and our house is happily
chaotic thanks to our three kids, Wesley (), Charlotte
() and Jonah ().
Family is at the center of everything I do, and I try to bring that same grounded,
steady approach into my work and relationships. I’ve always enjoyed building things -
whether it’s tackling a home project, starting something from scratch, or finding a
way to improve what’s already there. I like having a project to keep me busy and take
real satisfaction in seeing something tangible come together.
Outside of work, I enjoy the simple things: getting out for pickleball, spending time
with my family, and mowing the grass when I can sneak in a quiet hour.
